PR Internship
During the Summer of 2024, I interned with the 24/7 Prayer Line and Public Relations Departments at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. It was a fruitful experience that honed and taught me many skills, including AP style, press releases, media list creation, quarterly news clipping and press release reports, and project management. Additionally, I learned to use systems such as Cision and Acoustic. Please take a look below for some of my specific projects.
Press Releases
I worked with the PR team in writing and editing press releases. Once they went through the approval process, I uploaded them in Acoustic and the WordPress BGEA Media Website and emailed them to media lists.

I wrote the copy and used Canva to create the graphics for these posts on The Cove’s Facebook page. They are designed to encourage interest in upcoming events and increase engagement.
Meeting Leadership
I helped lead weekly meetings with the Prayer Line Volunteer Team by creating a short devotional, a team-building connection activity, and keeping track of time. To increase time management and efficiency, I helped create an updated meeting agenda with time stamps and kept meeting minutes for management’s reference. Included in this section is an example meeting agenda I used without sensitive information.
